About W.C. Weil Company – Serving the Water & Wastewater Industry Since 1978

W.C. Weil works with engineers and system owners as problem solvers and trusted partners in the municipal water and wastewater industry. We offer sales and service to help your organization gain maximum efficiency and ultimate results.

How we help you is based on our three key strengths:

Knowledge

Constantly changing demands in regulations and operational challenges require that we know our products’ strengths, limitations, and how they work together for your benefit and peace of mind. That is why we invest in continuing education for team members who recommend, service, or sell you equipment.

Skills

Our factory-trained technicians gain skills and proficiency from continued training and experience. What sets our team apart is a desire to perform an excellent job, and the ability to pull together the art, craft, and science of what they accomplish for you. Our experts will help you maintain long-term production efficiency and reduce waste and costs wherever possible.

Solutions / Resources

Feeling overwhelmed, like you’re being pulled in different directions, resulting in reduced capacity, declining efficiency, and higher anxiety? Don’t have a trusted resource to discuss what has changed or is happening that is negatively affecting your operation? We want to help. Call us or send us a message through our “How may we help you?” form, and we will connect you with the expert or resources to address your need.

Our Philosophy

W.C. Weil was founded on the principles that success is achieved through a long-term relationship between the owner, engineer, manufacturer, and contractor. A relationship based on communication, mutual trust, and respect. It is our ongoing commitment to maintain a balance between dependable product lines that are of the highest value to our customers and best promote the interests of the manufacturer we proudly represent.

Company History

In 1978 W.C. Weil Company was founded by William “Bill” Weil, whose passion was providing superior products to serve the water and wastewater equipment industry. In 2002, the company was sold to salesman Greg Madia, who has continued many of Bill’s business relationships through continued commitment to the municipal industry. Through his leadership, the company has grown dramatically, cultivating a team culture that instills a sincere desire to listen to your ever changing challenges and adjust our business model to support you with those challenges today and in the future.

On August 25, 2017 W.C. Weil was purchased by New Jersey-based PumpMan Holdings LLC. The company will continue to function under the well-established W.C. Weil Company brand and remain in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as an operating company of PumpMan Holdings.

Greg Madia, President of W.C. Weil, will remain with the company, initially as General Manager and then transitioning to President of the Sales Division. In his role, Mr. Madia will lead the Company’s sales efforts and work closely with customers to accelerate growth in the region.

PumpMan’s goal is to create a national pump system, service and repair company, and leverage the strengths of the W.C. Weil team, which has established itself as a premier pump service and repair company in the Pittsburgh market.
